Safety Management: First Aid Kits

Aside from workplace safety training that ensures employees and the workplace itself to be as healthy and as safe as possible, there is still one important item that all companies should practice and have: first aid.

First aid is the manner of providing primary care for a sudden injury or illness. It lessens and reduces the pain of injuries and damages brought about by a variety of accidents. First aid safety trainings must be attended to by corresponding representatives. First aid is part of workplace safety services and must be strewn all over the company’s premises. There are even a set of rules for companies to abide by when it comes to first aid. Some of which are:

In this series of articles, based on 999 Legendary Selling For The 21st Century, we review the differentiators between those who consistently over achieve and those who do not. Many of these people are legends in the selling profession. This is the first article where we briefly review a key differentiator – Integrity.

Integrity is defined as honesty and soundness.

It is essential that a Sales Legend maintains an honesty at all times about who they are, what they represent, and that they be honest in all dealings with a client and within their own employer. It is of course preferable that they be honest at all times, and in all things.

Never has it been more important than in the 21st Century, with all the regulatory change in recent years, to have integrity at all levels in your work as a sales person; to declare all conflicts of interest; and to be sure that what you are selling to your client will effectively meet their business needs. In order to reach this objective, Knowledge Management comprises Information Systems for capture and shows participants or users best expertise, Human Resources Administration for selecting, take and learn their best talents and expertise in their knowledge areas, documented and undocumented procedures with business rules for standardize organization’s activities and Finance for quantifying their talent and expertise value, performance and importance for the organization.

From this point of view, Knowledge Management is focused in how every key employee of an organization executes her key activities timely, without errors, following business rules (or not), how this business rules are efficient and effective (or not) and how this employee make decisions: which information pieces support this decisions and how this information pieces can configure some behaviors (or not).
